   Thursday, Oct. 17

Maryland (+pts) vs. GA: Tech: Looks like a good play to open the week. Terps seemed to find their “O” in against WVU in a very hostile situation. Big game for both sides but like the Terrapins off the big win.

   Friday, Oct. 18

Fresno St. (+pts) at Boise St.: Boise record at home is well documented. I’m a glutton for punishment so I will stand against the blue carpet in this spot and take the points.

   Saturday, Oct. 19

Vanderbilt (+pts) at Georgia: Vandy always gives the Bulldogs a fight and this should be no different especially since Georgia has Kentucky on the horizon.

SD St. (-pts) at Wyoming. Cowboys were life and death to get their lone win against The Citadel. San Diego St. has been playing a much tougher schedule. Will find Wyoming’s defense to its liking.

Washington (+pts) against USC: Dog-dominated series. Points look great in this spot. Should go down to the wire. Huge game for both teams, take the points!

Cal (+pts) vs UCLA: Cal always gives best against Bruins. Will be no different here. Big game for both teams. Any points could make the difference. Should go down to the wire.

Virginia (-pts) vs UNC: Home team has dominated this series and things won’t change UVA gives top effort in soldout house.

LSU (-pts) vs S. Carolina: LSU has too much offense for the Gamecocks. Defense will be able to shut down what little O that S.C. has.

Air Force (pick) vs N.D.: Good match. Irish D against Air Force O machine. Will side with Falcons in this ESPN2 beauty.

   Last week: 0-0. Season: 35-31-1.

   Sunday, Oct. 20

Eagles (-pts / under) vs Bucs: Eagles defense can shut down Bucs and their superior offense will prevail. Philly by two TDs.

Cards (-pts / under) vs Cowboys: Both teams have been excellent UNDER plays of late. Arizona grinds out a win in low scoring affair.

   Last week: 0-0. Season: 15-11.
