Games for week ending Dec. 2.

Pats 34, Lions 13: The Lions up against it versus New England team fighting for playoff spot. Lions morale at a new low after blowing 10-point lead to Bears. Brady and Pats roll on Thanksgiving. PATS (-5.)

Redskins 17, Cowboys 13: Second half of Turkey Day twinbill brings old rivals together. Skins coming off biggest win of season over Bears. Cowboys beat up on erratic Jaguars. Washington surprises itself again. SKINS (+1).

Dolphins 24, Bills 16: The Bills have hit a wall and going into a tailspin. Buffalo’s chances should brighten if weather is bad. But we like Miami anyway. DOLPHINS (-1).

Packers 20, Bears 17: Chicago came back from beyond the grave last week against Detroit. Green Bay is a different cup of tea, however. Still, the upset possibility is there. BEARS (+10).

Bengals 19, Ravens 16: The Bengals playing up temp and their play has improved. Too bad it hasn’t been shown on scoreboard. This is the week for a winning result. BENGALS (+3).

Browns 27, Panthers 10: Carolina played too many close games and it showed up last outing against Atlanta. More of the same this week. BROWNS (-7).

Steelers 23, Jaguars 22: The Jags’ are the Jekyll and Hyde outfit of the NFL. Steelers can be had and Jags are the team to do it. JAGS (+3).

Chiefs 34, Cards 20: Kansas City favored here and look like the choice against a bad Cardinals squad. Chiefs put points on the board. CHIEFS (-9).

Falcons 24, Vikings 23: Can’t see Vikings staying with red hot Falcons, but strange happenings go on in dome. Minnesota far better at home, but Falcons look superior. VIKES (+4).

Giants 20, Titans 13: The Titans are overrated. Played Baltimore and lost. That happens when you disdain the touchdowns for field goals. Giants in lollypop division and playing similar schedule. They should do well here. GIANTS (-2½).

Broncos 24, Chargers 17: San Diego not the same since being whipped by the Jets. Broncos supposed to be the class of AFC, but can’t prove it by me. Still, Denver looks like the choice. BRONCOS (-3).

Colts 31, Texans 13: Houston playing with a lot of fire, but lack firepower to come out on top despite upending Giants. Indy on a roll following great win over Denver. COLTS (-10).

Eagles 24, Rams 23: Tight game projected here with injuries being the question mark. Lineups change from week to week. Marshall Faulk is the key to the Rams attack. Situation up in the air until game time. RAMS (+2).

49ers 27, Seahawks 16: The Niners coming off Monday nighter. Seattle is off big win over KC. Niners a whole lot tougher. NINERS (-9).

Saints 20, Bucs 10: Bucs sitting atop NFC with a 9-2 record, but better keep their mind on business. Saints in a slump and facing make or break game. Can't count on Bucs defense to win every game. SAINTS (pick).

Jets 34, Raiders 31: The Jets are in the midst of a murderous schedule and need to sweep the board if they want to make the playoffs. QB Chad Pennington and running of Curtis Martin and Lamont Jordan get the job done in the toughest game on their slate thus far.JETS (+7).
