Station Casinos announced that the Nevada Gaming Control Board has approved the return of Fixed Base Electronic Bingo, also known as GTIs, to six of its properties.
The Board’s approval concluded an investigation into the manipulation of bingo outcomes by a former Game Tech employee. The Board’s investigation found that after certain necessary revisions to the Fixed Base Electronic Bingo system, the internal controls are now secure and the GTIs are, once again, ready for play.
"We’re pleased that the Board has completed its investigation and found that Game Tech’s internal controls ensure the integrity of the game," said Steve Cavallaro, chief operating officer for Station Casinos. "We are excited to begin offering GTIS to our guests again," said Cavallaro.
In November, Station Casinos contributed additional funds to the bingo prize pools through "Second Chance" Bingo jackpots. In order to celebrate the return of the GTIs, Station is adding additional funds to bingo prize pools through "Second Chance" Bingo jackpots.
