New Years Eve’s biggest dance party

Come join the fun down at the Fremont Street Experience on New Year’s Eve. With entertainment featuring Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Love Shack, Dazz Band, .38 Special and some other local bands.

The party starts at 6 p.m. and doesn’t stop. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at Fremont Street Experience or by calling 678-5777.

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy; which originated in Southern California in the late 90s, have their own record label, Big Bad Records, and also have performed in such movies as Swingers, and the television show Party of Five. With their retro/swing music, they became a huge hit, and were even nominated for a Grammy Award in 1999.

Dazz Band, was masterminded by Bobby Harris in the late 70s. The result, an eight-piece line up band performing danceable jazz. They signed with Motown Records in the 80s, and also won a Grammy Award for their US Top 10 hit with "Let it Whip" in 1982.

.38 Special, whom released their debut album in 1977, is a musical legend to many generations. With many Top 10 hits, Gold and Platinum records as well as sold-out concert tours, .38 Special broke the Southern Rock mold and established themselves as a Classic Rock-n-Roll Band.
