Tuesday, March 25

Bruins at Maple Leafs: Teams have averaged 7.3 gpg when they’ve met this season. Good reality here as Boston is motivated for playoff spot. Leafs could care less. OVER 6.

Red Wings at Blues: Wings have two one-goal losses in the Gateway City but are playing much better hockey (8-3 L11) lately than cold as ice St. Louis (2-7-1 L10). RED WINGS.

Sharks at Coyotes: Desert dogs chum in the series as SJ is 4-1, outscoring Phoenix, 18-4 with three shutouts for the hottest team in the NHL (W14-15). This one’s for GT reader Richard in Massachusetts. SHARKS. BEST BET.

Wednesday, March 26

Oilers at Wild: Jiffy Lubers in trouble in The Land of 10,000 Lakes where Backstrom (8-0-0, 1.36 GAA) undefeated against them. Careful on amount here though as Oilers in midst of nice playoff push (9-2 L11). WILD.

Kings at Ducks: Giguere and Anaheim get nod in this Battle of SoCal as home team has won both meetings (8-4 goals) at the Honda Center. DUCKS.

Thursday, March 27

Devils at Rangers: A measly six goals in three games (2.0 gpg) at MSG (2-1, 2-0, 1-0) makes the under the obvious play. Brodeur (2.13 GAA) vs. Lundqvist (2.28). UNDER 5.

Maple Leafs at Bruins: Read opening capsule. Let’s try it again, especially if Monday’s skate went over. OVER 6.

Stars at Sharks: Although Thornton, Chechoo & Co. poised to make run at Stanley Cup (10-1, Caesars Palace), Stars 3-0 at SJ’s HP Pavilion (11-5 goals), live dog here. STARS.

Coyotes at Kings: Phoenix has LA’s number (5-1 series) and may be a small underdog here. Make sure Byzgalov in net though, not Tellqvist. COYOTES.

Friday, March 28

Flyers at Devils: Philly has lost five straight to NJ by 24-8 margin. DEVILS. BEST BET.

Blues at Wings: Liked ‘em Tuesday against Blues, like ‘em here. RED WINGS.

Saturday, March 29

Stars at Kings: Dallas 3-0 at home (12-2 goals) vs LA but 0-3 on road in LaLaLand, all one-goal wins for Kings. Let’s take the team with nothing to lose. KINGS.

Canadiens at Maple Leafs: It’s Hockey Night in Canada and these two from the NHL’s Original Six have played three 4-3 games in Toronto. OVER 6.

Sunday, March 30

Avalanche at Wild: Minnesota protects its home ice (21-11-5) and is 2-0 against Colorado in Xcel Energy Center. WILD.

Coyotes at Sharks: See Tuesday’s capsule. Sharks don’t sleep, Coyotes do, SHARKS. BEST BET.

Flames at Canucks: Vancouver goes for season sweep (4-0, 16-10 goals). CANUCKS.

Monday, March 31

Penguins at Rangers (VS): Blueshirts had won four straight against Penguins, outscoring them 17-7. RANGERS.

Thrashers at Lightning: Goals galore here as two teams averaging 8.3 gpg at St. Pete Times Forum this season. OVER 6.

(NOTE: Totals are guesses on what game’s actual over/under may be. Make your own adjustments.)
