Phoenix Suns +7 at Boston Celtics: The Suns have been on a roll, of late, although they had their seven-game winning streak snapped Monday after losing in overtime to Detroit, 110-105. Nonetheless, there’s no doubt the team has been given a boost with Shaq in the lineup and they are playing better as a result. Tonight’s game against Eastern powerhouse Boston demands top billing and we expect the game to be contested down to the wire. The Suns have done well against the East (they’re 22-5 SU), and they beat the Celtics in Phoenix a month ago. The Celtics were ambushed at home a couple of weeks ago by an underrated Utah Jazz squad, then came back with a vengeance to sweep San Antonio, Houston and Dallas on the road. Oddly, though, the Celtics have suffered back-to-back losses to the Hornets (113-106) and Sixers (95-90). For some reason, of late, Boston has been having trouble scoring points in the fourth quarter. Coming off a loss, we give Phoenix a chance to keep this one close and maybe pull the outright upset. Phoenix.
