Rock nostalgia group Sha Na Na shakes up the Suncoast Showroom this weekend with 7:30 concerts, Friday through Sunday. Tickets are $29.95 to $39.95.

The group may not have invented rock nostalgia, but it has certainly underscored the Golden Age of rock beginning in the 1970s.

The group was in the original Woodstock Festival, starred in Grease (the most successful movie musical), hosted its own TV series for four years, and still performed more than 100 concerts a year.

The group has released more than 25 record albums, with worldwide sales of more than 20 million. Their hit sings include At the Hop, Pony Time, Let¡¦s Dance, The Twist, Party Doll and Land of a Thousand Dances, to name a few.

The group recently starred in a national tour.
