Maureen Mullarkey, chief financial officer of International Game Technology (IGT), has been promoted to executive vice president.
The announcement was made last week by IGT President Tom Baker following last week’s review of the company’s fiscal results for the first quarter that ended on Dec. 28, 2002.
Mullarkey first joined the company in 1989 as a financial analyst. She received several promotions until 1998 when she was named chief financial officer. She left the company for a brief period after accepting an executive position with a company in California but returned to the world’s largest manufacturer of gaming devices early last year.
She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1980 and an MBA from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1988.
Isle of Capri Casinos Inc. (ISLE) named Timothy M. Hinkley to succeed John M. Gallaway as president and chief operating officer when Gallaway retires on July l. Gallaway will continue to serve on the company’s board of directors.
Hinkley has been with the company since 1992 and most recently has been the company’s senior vice president of operations.
John James has been approved by Nevada regulators to be vice president and general manager of Rancho Station, the property formerly known as Wildfire Casino that was acquired by Station Casinos Inc. (STN).
Joy Berry has been appointed senior vice president of development for Argosy Gaming Company (AGY), a newly-created position. Berry was the regional vice president of development for Marriott International before joining Argosy Gaming.
Kevin Kelly has resigned his post as senior vice president and general manager of Santa Fe Station to succeed Don Marandino as president of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
