We may be acting a bit hard with this rating, but all of us experience bad days. Burgers should not be served on sourdough buns under any circumstances. They are salty, tasteless and lame. An All-American burger bun is soft, tasty and easy to hold. If Village Pub decides to dump the sourdough for the All-American version, the quality of the burger goes up drastically. The fries were very good and the service stellar, which also emphasizes our disappointment in the bun. Maybe it was the rain, traffic and construction along 95 that contributed to the mood. Give the Pub a shot, but make sure you push for better buns.
