The trouble with us working stiffs is that often there isn’t much time to grab a bite, so the only course of action is finding the closest fast food place. In our case, it’s Wendy’s. The price is right and the service extremely quick, but don’t choose fast food if time is not an issue. Wendy’s beats Burger King and McDonalds in burger and fries quality, but any product that is mass-produced comes off dry and lacking taste. The late Dave Thomas had the right approach to fast food and made his places more friendly and homey. Of the Big 3, we prefer Wendy’s but with the caviat that you should avoid fast food if searching for that gourmet burger. Otherwise, you will be disappointed.
