Rampart: dining for everybody!

It is often said that in Las Vegas it’s cheaper to dine out than to eat at home. We found more proof of that this week!

Rampart Casino is currently serving up a new steak special in the Promenade Café. Get a one pound bone-in New York Steak dinner complete with potatoes and vegetable of the day for only $7.99. The deal is available 24 hours a day. They are also featuring graveyard specials nightly from midnight-7 a.m. Select your favorite breakfast entrées from eight menu choices for $2.21 each.

For upscale dining, the new Carmel Room at the Rampart is superb. Everything is prepared fresh, presented brilliantly ”” everything you’d expect from a gourmet restaurant and more!

"Wild Industry Nights" (WIN) is the theme at Palace Station every Monday and Tuesday night with plenty of freebies and cheap specials for service industry employees. On Mondays, join with local celebrity/radio personality "Carlota and Her Friends" for a free comedy night inside Laugh Trax from 8-9:30 p.m. Tuesdays are Karaoke Nights inside Jack’s Irish Pub from 7-8 p.m. On both Mondays and Tuesdays there is a $500 "Battle of the Sexes" Slot Tournament from 8-10 p.m. with a chance to win cash and prizes. Food and drink specials, like wings for $1.99, are available both nights too. To participate in any of the events you must present a valid employee I.D. and a Boarding Pass card (slot club) which is free to join. The slot tournaments only accept a limited number of participants so it’s first come, first served.

If you’re headed to Laughlin anytime soon, you’ll find some excellent meal deals and bargain specials being offered at the Flamingo. The resort’s Flamingo Diner offers a tempting meatloaf special daily from 5-10 p.m., priced at $3.99. The meal includes a choice of soup or salad, a generous serving of meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable of the day, dinner roll and butter.

At the Flamingo Beef Barron steakhouse, guests can celebrate Lobsterfest with a whole, 1.25-pound lobster dinner, priced at just $12.95. Served after 8 p.m. any night of the week, the meal includes soup or salad, whole lobster with drawn butter, vegetable of the day, dinner roll and choice of a 12-ounce draft beer or glass of house wine.

Late-night diners can enjoy the "Midnight Special," which features a 12-ounce T-bone steak, two eggs and toast, for only $1.99 in the Flamingo Diner. This special is available from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday through Wednesday.

Also, daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Flamingo Diner offers its "Midday Special" for $1.99, which includes a 12-ounce T-bone steak or fried shrimp, pasta and vegetable of the day. Those looking for a great weekday start can build their own omelet breakfast for only 99 cents at the Flamingo Diner. This weekday special includes hash browns, toast and coffee, and is served from 7 to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday.
