New post for ex-IGT exec

Bob McMonigle, who spent years developing new products while employed as executive vice president of sales for International Game Technology (IGT) has joined American Gaming & Electronics (AGE) as president and chief operating officer.

McMonigle left IGT in 2001 after a 17-year career with the company.

American Gaming & Electronics is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wells-Gardner Electronics, which services some 700 casinos in North America.

Boyd Gaming Corporation (BYD) has appointed Cass Palmer as vice president of human resources He succeeds Kathy Rybar, who resigned to relocate to another state.

Palmer, who has been in the gaming industry for the past 20 years, was most recently the senior human resources executive for Park Place Entertainment’s Las Vegas properties.

Coinless Systems, Inc., of Las Vegas, has identified four new members of the company’s board of directors. They are Darryl Dorsett, company CFO; Davis Houston, Michael Saunders and Dr. Rolf Carlson.

Also, the company said Dennis Sorenson has resigned as chairman, president and CEO. He is being replaced by Legal iGaming Inc., a company selected to provide management services. Legal iGaming is headed by Michael Saunders.
