Entertainment Marketing Technology Worldwide (EMT), a consumer driven venture integrating the entertainment, gaming and technology industries, announced last week that entertainer Ed McMahon will join in a new multimedia venture, "BestBet Media Group, Inc." McMahon will also host the $1 Million MegaBingo Championship at The Orleans.

The BestBet Media Group in association with Multimedia Games, Inc. is comprised of the Ed McMahon’s Players Club, magazine, interactive web site, and television show.

McMahon will host MegaBingo’s $1 Million-guaranteed competition on April 16 in the showroom at The Orleans Hotel and Casino. Seventy-two players qualified for the event by winning MegaBingo Bonus Rounds at participating Tribal Casinos and Bingo Halls across the U.S.

The Ed McMahon’s Players Club allows its member to play like a high-roller without paying like a high-roller. Membership benefits include affinity credit card, free trips, discounts and comps with participating club partners including world-class resorts, cruise lines, airlines, golf vacations, fine dining as well as many other V.I.P. perks and luxuries.

EMT brought together McMahon, Multimedia Games, Inc. (MGAM), and The Orleans to present the exciting Championship event. MegaBingo debuted in 1989 as the only daily game where players could win the chance for a million dollar prize.

McMahon, a veteran television personality with over five decades of experience in the industry has made a name for himself across the board. Serving 30 years as Johnny Carson’s sidekick on The Tonight Show, McMahon went on to host Ed McMahon’s Star Search for over 12 years, Bloopers & Practical Jokes and others.

EMT, headquartered in Las Vegas, has proven the integration of print, television, Internet and celebrity involvement to be the "new" media explosion.

Multimedia Games Inc. is the leading supplier of interactive electronic games and player stations to the rapidly growing Native American gaming market. The company’s games are delivered through a telecommunications network that links its player stations with one another both within and among gaming facilities.

Multimedia Games designs and develops networks, software and content that provide its customers with comprehensive gaming systems.

Under the leadership of veteran gaming executive, Michael Gaughan, Chairman and CEO of Coast Casinos, the company owns and operates four Las Vegas properties: the Barbary Coast, Gold Coast, The Orleans and Suncoast.
