One of the highlights of the Las Vegas International Hotel & Restaurant Show is the Epicurean Affair, held Tuesday night at Caesars Palace.
The top chefs from Las Vegas’ finest restaurants will be in attendance to showcase their signature culinary dishes and internationally-acclaimed wines in the 13th annual event.
Food enthusiasts will be able to sample in one space cuisine from restaurants including Bradley Ogden and 808, which will collaborate for a Caesars Palace exhibit; Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House; Top of the World at the Stratosphere; Ricardo’s Mexican Restaurant at the MGM Grand; Ah Sin at Paris; Hugo’s Cellar at the Four Queens, Jasmine at Bellagio; Commander’s Palace at the Aladdin; Smith & Wollensky; Lutece at the Venetian; Buzio’s at the Rio; Samba at the Mirage; Rosemary’s restaurant; Panevino; Black Mountain Grill; and many more.
"Decadent food is not the only dish on the menu for this year’s Epicurean Affair," said Van Heffner, president and chief executive officer of the Nevada Hotel & Lodging Association and Nevada Resort Association. "Caesars Palace has numerous surprises in store for attendees."
The resort will take advantage of the event’s poolside location to create a party atmosphere.
As always, the Epicurean Affair will be more than a Who’s Who of the finest chefs. A taste of Las Vegas’ sultry nightlife will be revealed at Bar Alley.
Bar Alley will be a mix of the best lounges and nightclubs, featuring a visual smorgasbord consisting of Venus from the Venetian; dancing silhouettes from Shadow Bar at Caesars Palace; sexy bartenders from New York-New York’s Coyote Ugly; Whiskey Bar at Green Valley Ranch Station; Nine Fine Irishman at New York-New York; Deluca Liquor & Wine; and many more.
Specialty drinks will be on hand at Bar Alley, also located poolside.
A silent auction will be held during the event to benefit the Nevada Hotel & Lodging Association and the Nevada Restaurant Association education and scholarship funds.
"The Epicurean Affair exemplifies what Las Vegas is all about," Heffner said. "Fine dining, fabulous hotels and spectacular entertainment make Las Vegas one of the premier vacation destinations in the world."
