Just in time for football season, Station Casinos announced Monday that it has implemented sports book "cross-cashing," so sports bettors can cash their tickets at any Station sports book.

"We’re very excited to offer this new benefit to our customers," said Art Manteris, vice president of race and sports for Station Casinos. "With football season just around the corner, the option to cash sports wagers anywhere in the valley will be more convenient for our guests than ever."

Indeed, the option should have sports bettors smiling. Station properties are spread from Texas and Fiesta in North Las Vegas to Green Valley Ranch and Fiesta Henderson in Henderson.

A total of six station properties and two Fiesta casinos will be able to cash tickets from their Station cousins. The Wild Wild West and Barley’s casino, both owned by Station, must cash their own tickets.

In other Station news, the race book at Palace Station is currently in the middle of a renovation. Within a few weeks, the race book will be equipped with new furnishings, and new TV monitors for the 92 seats.
