In the wake of the World Series of Poker’s record-setting tournament, Binion’s Horseshoe has "reshuffled the deck" in its poker department.

Warren Shaffer, poker room manager, has been promoted to the position of tournament director, a post previously held by George Fisher.

In addition, Dawn George was named the new tournament coordinator, which was previously held by Steve McDonald.

Both Fisher and McDonald were released from their positions earlier this month.

Also joining Binion’s staff is Nolan Dalla, who will serve as the casino’s media director. Dalla worked as tournament publicist during the World Series of Poker. He has previously written for numerous gaming publications, and was very adept at dispensing World Series information on a timely basis.
