Poker Palace on the "North Las Vegas Strip" has announced the appointment of Jo Farwell as its new Bingo Manager. Farwell has worked in the bingo industry for nearly 20 years and has been in the Las Vegas bingo industry since 1994. Prior to joining Poker Palace, Farwell served as bingo manager for a local multi-property gaming group.

Farwell began her career operating a "Bingo Nights" program at Husterhoe Kasern military base in Germany. While in Georgia at Hunter Army Airfield, she spent much of her time volunteering with the Army Community Service organization and was awarded the "Volunteer of the Year" award by Gen. H. Norman Schwarzkopf for her efforts.

In her position with Poker Palace, Farwell says her newest program in development is "innovative and top secret, which means that most savvy bingo managers and bingo players may already know what it is!" Farwell plans to slowly introduce the new program at Poker Palace’s nightly 7 p.m. sessions in August.

Poker Palace’s 5,000 square-foot bingo room offers guests a unique breakfast and dinner buffet daily at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. It is the only room we know of that offers an actual buffet inside the bingo hall for players. A minimum $10 buy-in is required for the breakfast buffet and a $15 buy-in is required for dinner. Eight regular sessions are offered daily from 9 a.m. through 11 p.m. weekdays and through 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Palms will give away $4,000 in cash drawings in the bingo room this Thursday. Players receive a drawing ticket for every session they play during the month, including the day of the drawings! The cash drawings on the 31st will be held at the 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. sessions. Players must be present at the drawings to win the cash!

The Gold Coast and the Suncoast will play host to "Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Giveaways" on Thursdays in August at the 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. sessions. "$80,000 Must Go!" There will be a guaranteed bonanza of $4,000 plus a Second Chance Bonanza for $1,000 at each session among other linked jackpot progressives. For additional information, call or visit the Suncoast or Gold Coast bingo rooms.

Until next time”¦May you all shout "B-I-N-G-O!"
