NFL Preseason selections:3 to get ready

Falcons +5.5 at Dolphins: Now that Miami can play a team outside Florida, this should be easy. Truth is Atlanta lost QB Mike Vick for at least 6 weeks and can’t afford to play Doug Johnson very much. That gives a big edge to the Miami QB rotation of Fiedler, Griese and Rosenfels. Reeves will be very cautious in this one. Miami busts loose at home. DOLPHINS.

Bears —1 at Cards: Kordell is not showing much to prove he is the answer for Chicago at QB. Meanwhile, the Cardinals are playing excellent defense. Of course, this is smoke and mirrors because Arizona has zilch on offense. But, McGinnis is 7-3 ATS in preseason so we’ll play follow the leader. CARDINALS.

Jets —1.5 at Giants: Being that I am from Queens, this is a must look. The blackout was a good idea for the Giants, but it came 10 days early. Can’t ignore history which says the Jets have covered 11 straight times vs G-Men. Look for Pennington to again score quick in the first quarter. Giants have managed just 16 points in two games. JETS.
