Commerce Casino is reflecting the increased side games that go hand in hand with tournament time, namely Heavenly Hold’em. Scheduled for September 5-14, the annual hold’em competition promises over $430,000 in guaranteed prize money, not to mention ten solid days of exclusive "heaven sent" hold’em events.

In addition to Heavenly Hold’em, upcoming tournament action across the floor at Commerce Casino includes a $5,000-added "Independence Day" Mexican Poker Tournament on September 16 at 8 p.m.; $30,000 Blackjack Freeroll Tournament on Monday, September 29 with entries via lucky seat drawings from September 1-29; and a continuing series of $10,000-guaranteed "lucky seat" Pan-9 tournaments scheduled for September 4, September 18, and October 2.

The Pan-9 tournaments are open to players via lucky seat drawings or a $50+5 buy-in with one optional rebuy. During each Pan-9 competition, Commerce Casino will award $5,000 in cash drawings to lucky tournament players, including $2,000 at 8 pm and $3,000 at 10 pm.

Commerce Casino, which has awarded over $14.6 million in jackpot cash from December of 2002 through July of 2003, continues to offer super jackpots daily with new poker hours effective August 18.

Super jackpots are now in effect in the poker section daily from 11 am to noon and 7 pm-8 pm. During super jackpot hours, guaranteed pay-outs up to $100,000 are being awarded in $3-6, $4-8, $6-12, and $9-18 hold’em.

Commerce Casino continues to post regular jackpots and super jackpots in California games, including $30,000 minimum super "blackjackpots" in no bust blackjack. In addition, California games section seated players are earning extra cash every Sunday night via Commerce Casino’s $15,000 Super Sunday Cash Drawings.

The drawings, which take place Sundays at 3 pm, 6 pm, 9 pm and midnight, total $15,000 in cash prizes for lucky drawing winners every week. What’s more, drawing tickets are distributed to seated players prior to each drawing and are good for all drawings held that night. Cash drawing amounts increase throughout the evening, as follows: $2,000 at 3 pm; $3,000 at 6 pm; $4,000 at 9 pm; and $6,000 at midnight.
