The first session, Chairmen Checking In, will be held Tuesday, Sept. 16 and will focus on the challenges and opportunities facing the industry in the coming years, including increased tax rates, legal battles and potential new jurisdictions for gaming.

Sponsored by Bank of America, the discussion will be moderated by the company’s managing director, Bill Newby. Panelists will include Ray Halbritter, CEO and nation representative, Oneida Nation, Inc.; Terry Lanni, chairman and CEO, MGM MIRAGE; Dan Lee, Chairman and CEO, Pinnacle Entertainment; and Phil Satre, chairman, Harrah’s Entertainment.

On Wednesday, Sept. 17, CFOs Checking In will feature a more financially oriented discussion among the CFOs from some of the world’s most successful gaming companies. The session, moderated by Harry Curtis, managing director at JPMorgan, will feature Glenn Christenson, CFO, Station Casinos; Glenn Schaeffer, CFO, Mandalay Resort Group; Chuck Atwood, CFO, Harrah’s Entertainment; and Jim Murren, CFO, MGM MIRAGE. The session is sponsored by JPMorgan.

Both sessions will take place from 8 to 8:50 a.m. in room N101 of the Las Vegas Convention Center. G2E’s Gaming Investment Forum is sponsored by Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank.
