NFL WEEK 4 SELECTIONS: 4 TO GO

Sep 23, 2003 8:36 AM

Jaguars (—3) at Texans: This is making the grand assumption that new coach Jack Del Rio will take the harness off rookie Byron Leftwich and let the former Marshall QB start. BL threw a TD pass late against the Colts, while Brunell managed less than 100 yards. The Texans were blitzed by KC and a perfect debut team for Leftwich. JACKSONVILLE.

Colts (—1½) at Saints: Just maybe the Colts have put everything together. Saints are back to being the Aints. Brooks regressing at QB. Good chance for Manning to pad his stats. INDIANAPOLIS.

Patriots (+2½) at Redskins: The Redskins lost a heartbreaker last week after Ramsey led a comeback. Pats need to play better than they did last week against the Jets. Belichek v Spurrier a classic defense/offense clash. We’ll take the points. NEW ENGLAND.

Titans (+3) at Steelers: Those Terrible Towels will be out in force for this marquee matchup in the AFC. With McNair hurting and Maddux off to a solid start, we like the Steelers to hold serve at home. PITTSBURGH.
