Thursday, Sept. 25

Nebraska (-1) at So. Miss: These two last met in 1999 and the Huskers eked out a 20-13 win in Lincoln. This looks to be another one of those ho hum affairs and I would look to bet the under. Neither team has shown any semblance of an offense. UNDER.

Saturday, Sept. 27

Minnesota (-3) at Penn St: The Lions have dropped four straight ATS vs Minnesota but I just have a feeling that it will turn here. The gophers hit the road for the first time and believe me it won’t be a very friendly atmosphere. PENN ST.

Northwestern (+21) at Ohio St: Home has ruled last four ATS and Buckeyes won’t let the Wildcats sneak up on them as they almost did last year as a 25-point underdog. Lay the wood as the Buckeyes open the Big Ten season. OHIO ST.

Texas Tech (+1) at Mississippi: This is one of those BIG time revenge games as TT broke Ole Miss’s 24 game win streak vs non conf foes in regular season. OLE MISS.

LSU (—13) at Miss St.: LSU is 7-0 last seven ATS and 10-1 last 11 ATS. A trend to stick with. LSU.

Notre Dame (+10) at Purdue: ND, coming off three tough games, has beaten the Boilermakers the last three times. But, all were very close. PURDUE.

Arizona St (+6) at Oregon St: ASU has owned Oregon State of late winning the last seven games. The dog is 7-3 ATS in the last 10. ARIZ ST.

Ga Tech (—8) at Vanderbilt: Vandy at least has the look of a team with some play in them and will hang close here in revenge mode from last year’s 45-3 hammering. VANDY.

San Diego St (+12) at UCLA: The Bruins have owned this series going 9-1 ATS in last 10, but they are in a vice here coming off Oklahoma and getting Washington next week. Look for the State defense to keep this one close. SAN DIEGO ST.

Rice (+21) at Hawaii: Points look good here. Rice is 4-0 ATS and 3-1 SU against Hawaii in last four meetings. RICE.

UL Monroe (+11) at Utah St.: Monroe has little or no offense. Utah State, though winless, is unbeaten ATS. State is rested and foaming at the mouth to avenge last year’s 51-48 overtime defeat. Go to the bank on this one. UTAH ST.

Last week: 6-4

Season: 23-31

Bengals (+7) at Browns: Cleveland is 3-0 last 3 ATS and will be 4-0 after this one. BROWNS.

Falcons (+6) at Panthers: Atlanta is 6-0 ATS in last six versus Panthers. FALCONS.

Chargers (+11) at Raiders: Big time rivalry here. Must take the points. CHARGERS.

Colts (+2) at Saints: NO is 4-0 last 4 meetings. SAINTS.
