Rocktoberfest features Eddie Money and more

Downtown will be the cheap, rockin’ place to be this weekend. The Fremont Street Experience along with Beasley Broadcasting debuts their Classic Rocktoberfest on Saturday, October 18, featuring Eddie Money, Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad, Rick Derringer, Pat Travers, Destination Unknown, and Tommy Rocker.

This food and music festival includes five city blocks of rocking and rolling all night long with free entertainment, the awesome Fremont Street Experience light and sound shows and food and drink specials on the mall.

Las Vegas’ Heritage Classic Rock station, 96.3 KKLZ, and KSTJ Star 102.7 are the presenting stations and will broadcast live from the Fremont Street Experience on Saturday.

Don’t miss the Monday Night Football activities this week at Boulder Station, where party-goers gather in the Railhead beginning at 5 p.m. Admission is free, and your first Coors beer and hot dog are on the house! Catch the live NFL action on six state-of-the-art big screen TV’s, plus one giant 10 ft. screen at the center of all the action.

Stadium style food and drink specials are available at nominal prices plus there are great contests that includes the Point Halftime Contest ”” a-crazy contest for a chance to win dinner and a movie at Boulder Station.
