Casino MonteLago at Lake Las Vegas celebrates the Harvest and Fine Arts Festival, October 25-26. Club Uno members can take free yacht rides on Lake Las Vegas’ 84-foot La Contessa on Saturday, October 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you’re not yet a club member, just sign up at Club Uno on Saturday to receive a free ride voucher. There is limited seating and times available, so plan to go early. You must be 21 or older to participate. The Harvest and Fine Arts Festival will also feature wine tastings, gourmet foods, live entertainment and more.

Almost half way into the football season and we’re still finding new Monday Night Football (MNF) parties for good, cheap fun and excitement. Newest to enter the fray is Fitzgeralds downtown. Guests can enjoy all the fun and action of Monday Night Football in the second floor Video Jukebox Lounge with food and drink specials. You can also register for the free cash and prize drawings that take place at the end of every quarter.

Another latecomer is Silverton’s Monday Night Football parties held in the Showroom. The admission fee of $10 gets you all the Miller Lite Draft Beer you can handle during the game. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. every Monday and radio station STAR 102.7 FM hosts the parties.

You’ll find still one more MNF party at Santa Fe Station’s Cabo Cantina. Wear your NFL jersey or shirt to the Cabo Bar on Monday nights and receive your first Margarita for free. Or if you prefer, you can get 2 for 1 one well drinks instead of the Margarita. They offer additional food and drink specials throughout the games.

Finally, cheap is good at Arizona Charlie’s Decatur. Look for coupons scattered throughout the casino (front desk, slot club, etc.) good for 2 for 1’s on foot-long sandwiches from Subway, located inside the casino. You must present the coupon when ordering. Unless it’s a typo, these coupon gems are valid for over two years, expiring December 31, 2005!

Until next time, "Eat well, play well, stay well!"
