Look for the red dice sign across the street from the backside of Circus Circus and The Stardust and you should find this neat "greasy spoon." We like these "joints" because they often provide pleasant surprises, albeit around an interesting assortment of customers. We caught the place at noon, which is a great time to get quick service for the specialty of the house. That happens to be The Burger, a half-pounder served on a toasted bun with a "mound" of fries. The burger is quite tasty and goes down very smooth. The fries are adequate, but there was some problem with the coke machine. Tasted watery, but hopefully that will improve. The price was right and the bartender/server would even be worth seeing on a full stomach.
