About halfway between Green Valley Ranch and Barleys, just off Green Valley Parkway are the stately statues that welcome you to The Legacy Golf Club. And, if you decide to play 18 holes, it would make sense to stop in the restaurant just across from the golf shop. Like Rhodes Ranch, Legacy offers a classic burger — rich in juice on a perfectly sized bun. The service is good, the wait and price very reasonable. The only negative, and it’s a small one, is the style of fries. We prefer no skin and Legacy serves tasty fries, but slightly skinned. Yeah, we’re picky. If Legacy decides to go steak fries or the crinkled variety we’ll gladly upgrade to the full 5. If you like the skin-look on fries, consider this a first-class place. And, the golf isn’t bad either.
