PT goes Golden

Golden Gaming will open its newest tavern, PT’s Gold, on Wednesday, while setting a new standard for the tavern industry.

The brainchild of Golden Gaming is Blake Sartini, the former Station Casinos executive who launched the company two years ago.

Golden Gaming designers have developed two distinctive Las Vegas "looks" — a classic Las Vegas theme and an aviation theme — that will be used alternately at new locations.

There will be about six PT’s Gold taverns in the Las Vegas Valley by the fourth quarter.

"Classic Las Vegas lounges and the city’s aviation history have helped to develop the city," said Stephen Arcana, Golden Gaming, Inc.’s director of operations. "Our town was built on intimate gaming experiences, great entertainment, ease of accessibility and good service. Just like our company."

In the 1950’s, Las Vegas became world famous and PT’s Gold’s classic Las Vegas theme reflects that era. PT’s Gold at 3770 S. Hualapai Way at Twain is the first location built with this décor.

Throughout the 6,000-square-foot tavern, classic photos of now-famous publicity shots and not-so-famous historical photos are on display. The lounge features sleek and clean-lined sofas and ottomans, a fireplace, 28 television sets and 15 gaming machines.

Each PT’s Gold includes a fireplace, video golf games and pool tables as well as the most up-to-date selection of video poker games and the exclusive Golden Rewards frequent players program.

A complete menu is available 24 hours each day. Menu selections include breakfast, burgers and desserts as well as such non-traditional bar food as beef satay, grilled ahi and filet mignon. Guests can also enjoy PT’s own Sierra Gold lager and Las Vegas signature pizza.
