At New York-New York’s America Restaurant, the Valentine’s Day feast begins with the wild field greens salad, with red and yellow teardrop tomatoes, enoki mushrooms, radish sprouts and pink champagne vinaigrette or the roasted tomato soup.
For the main course, try the Jamaican jerk shrimp ($13.95), served with potato rosti and root vegetables.

Ellis Island Casino will be serving a Valentine’s Day dinner special on Saturday, February 14 from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Select a special entrée of your choice from a 10 oz. filet cut top sirloin and 7 oz. lobster tail, served with baked potato and steamed asparagus for $19.95, fresh salmon served with steamed asparagus and rice pilaf for $14.95, or Chicken Marsala served with steamed asparagus and rice pilaf for $14.95. Enjoy a free glass of your favorite house wine or a free handcrafted EIB (Ellis Island Brewery) beer with your dinner! All dinners also include cupid’s delicious Valentine’s strawberry shortcake for dessert.
In Laughlin the Colorado Belle will be celebrating Valentine’s Day in the elegant Orleans Room restaurant. There you can treat your sweetheart to a fabulous dinner for two. In addition to the regular menu, chefs will feature four special dinner entrées on February 14: Cajun Style Beef Wellington; Roasted Rack of Pork with Apple Chutney and Apricot Demi-Glace; Bouillabaisse with Lobster, Jumbo Shrimp, Fish and Clams; and Chicken Angelo. Each entrée is served with Caesar Cajun Style Spinach Salad and Oyster and Scallop Stew or Shrimp Bisque, a rose for all ladies.
