Aristocrat adds 2 execs

Aristocrat Technologies Inc., the Las Vegas-based division of gaming machine giant Aristocrat Leisure Limited of Australia , announced the appointments of Anthony Bocuzzo, as general manager of its Latin American operations, and Will Shuirman as senior regional manager, gaming, for the western region.

Veteran gaming industry executive Bill Bigelow has resigned as president of the Las Vegas Hilton, a property that is being sold by Caesars Entertainment Corp.

Brent Heberlee has been named government affairs counsel for Lionel Sawyer & Collins. He will be based in Washington, D.C., and will concentrate his efforts in representing the firm’s clients on Capitol Hill.

Geoffry Andres is the new president and general manager of Wheeling Island Gaming Inc., replacing Scott Cooper who has been promoted by parent company, Delaware North Inc.

Jack McDaniel has been appointed as president of Santa Anita racetrack by track owner Magna Entertainment Corp. (MECA). He succeeds Jack Liebau who resigned by citing major differences of opinion between himself and the track owners.

Mark Wilson, co-founder of Television Games Network, a division of Gemstar-TV Guide International Inc., has resigned to pursue opportunities in New Mexico.

Century Casinos Inc. (CNTY) of Cripple Creek, Colo., has appointed Hein Olckers as the general manager of The Caledon Hotel, Spa & Casino near Cape Town, South Africa.
