Feb 23, 2004 11:18 PM

"The Seniors" World Championship of Poker held it first poker tournament in Europe on Feb. 10 at the world famous Aviation de France poker club on the avenue des Champs-Elysees in Paris.

Carol and I were invited to host the inaugural European Seniors Championship of Poker during the Euro Finals of Poker, which is held each year in Paris.

Honey, I want to tell the folks all about this historic poker happening soon but right now I know that you are in a hurry to get to the airport, so I will just say a few things and then give the results of the inaugural of the European Seniors.

Carol we have already been invited back next year to again host " The Seniors" WCOP in Europe.

We also have invitations to host "The Seniors" WCOP in Ireland, Russia, Finland, and London England.

I told them that we would try to work them all into our schedule because we want to make "The Seniors" WCOP a world wide poker tour.

We hosted eight different poker and charity events last year and it seems like this is going to be a very busy year.

We are going to launch the world wide soon so that we can hold satellites for all the poker events all over the world.

The Senior players came from all over the world to play in Paris and the winners were from several different countries.

The poker game was No Limit Hold’em and each senior player paid 1,000 Euro’s to enter the event.

The winners of the Inaugural of the European Seniors poker championship were (winnings in Eurodollars):

1. HAIRABEDIAN Roger, (France) E11,700

2. BARNES David, (UK) E5,850

3. ATLANI Maurice, (France) E4,500

"Oklahoma Johnny" Poker Tip of the Week

Daddy told me that money was not heavy to carry and that you could not trade out of an empty wagon.

So always carry enough money to buy into the games.

I carried a little money with me to Europe for this the first ever "The Seniors" WCOP outside the USA except on cruise ships.

Carol, may I tell the folks that I filled the wagon and look forward to spreading the money around when we play next week at The Orleans in Las Vegas.

Until next time stay lucky!
