Seven way tens have been fairly popular tickets through the years, and the most common way of playing them is with 13 numbers, grouped 3-3-3-1-1-1-1. Four of the tens are made using 3-3-3-1, while the other three tens are made using 3-3-1-1-1-1.

Another less popular way of playing a seven way ten is by marking 28 numbers, grouped 7-6-5-4-3-2-1. The tens are constructed 7-3, 7-2-1, 6-4, 6-3-1, 5-4-1, 5-3-2, and 4-3-2-1.

The smallest seven way ten that can be constructed uses 11 numbers, grouped either 4-1-1-1-1-1-1-1, or 2-2-1-1-1-1-1-1-1. There are also a couple of interesting "twin" tickets that are seven way tens. Eighteen numbers, grouped 5-5-3-2-2-1, and 19 numbers, grouped 5-5-3-2-2-2 are both seven way tens.

One ticket differs only from the other by substitution of a deuce for the king. Another set of twins are eighteen numbers, grouped 4-4-3-3-3-1 and nineteen numbers grouped 4-4-3-3-3-2. Both tickets have seven tens, and both differ once again by the substitution of a deuce for a king.

Here are the odds for one of various catches on these seven way tens:

As you can see, the 7-6-5-4-3-2-1 is the best one to play, while the 4-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 is by far the worst to play.

Well, that’s it for this week, Good Luck! I’ll see you in the lounge!
