‘Plush’ opens in Summerlin

Plush, a new ultra lounge and supper club, has arrived at the J.W. Marriott resort in Summerlin. The new nightclub is an elegant, upscale establishment consisting of exotic lounges, multiple bars, two dance floors, several VIP private areas and an exquisite selection of food and drink.

The sumptuous club surroundings include three patios interlaced with ponds, waterfalls and fountains. The outside patio lounge is designed to encourage a gathering place with an ambiance set in beautiful garden surroundings. Opulent luxury is the magnet of Plush, whose aim is to pamper their patrons with an upscale service unlike no other.

Revelers will find plenty to pique their interest. Two for Tuesdays Old School Mix is a happy hour featuring 2-for-1 drinks between 8-11 p.m. before becoming Pulse, the Tuesday night promotion by John Lewis, one of Vegas’ hottest and in demand new promoters.

Lewis is also known as a former mixed martial arts champion fighting all over the world on TV including the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Along with his partner John Huntington, Lewis is also a very respected fight promoter and the owner of one of the premiere brands in the sport of mixed martial arts the "World Fighting Alliance."

Pulse caters to a younger demographic of locals and industry people by spinning Hip-Hop and Break Beats. It will showcase several female DJ’s, as well as special guest DJ’s guaranteed to make the crowd move. Lewis’ recent projects include "One Night Stand" with partner John Huntington (of Club Rubber and Pimp "n" Ho) formally on Tuesday Night at the Ghost Bar in the Palms Hotel and Casino.

"Pulse is becoming and will be the ultimate spot on Tuesday night in all of Las Vegas," says Lewis. "Once you have experienced it you will have to come back."

Another hot feature is V.I.N.E., in which Gino Lopinto presents an innovative happy hour concept at Plush on Fridays. Lopinto has been in the nightclub industry for 18 years. He has contracted and promoted the following clubs: 501 club, Metropolis, Utopia nightclub, RA in the Luxor and GLO at the HOP. In 1999, he eventually pioneered the first ever after-hours in Las Vegas at the Spearmint Rhino turning a strip club on the brink of bankruptcy into a $15 million a year goldmine.

The V.I.N.E. starts at 5 p.m. with a live jazz, blues and funk band with gourmet foods and half price drinks available. The event is free for all, though a dress code is enforced.

At 10 p.m. Girls Gone Plush begins! For the first time in Summerlin- ”¦ a lady’s night! Robert Oleysyck is the resident DJ spinning classic hits from yesterday to today’s most popular tracks. All local ladies are free. Doors open at 10pm. For guest list and tables please call 702-326-6852.

Saturdays at Plush, Michael Fuller presents a blend of hip-hop, house, rock, and disco. Fuller, born in Las Vegas and after traveling to many different places, emerged himself in the rave and nightclub scene before returning to his hometown to make waves of his own. Boasting such clients as Utopia, House of Blues, Baby’s at the Hard Rock, Red Dragon Lounge and Neon Museum. Throughout the years 2000-2003 Fuller traveled extensively as a DJ throughout America & Europe studying, experimenting, and taking in new ideas and concepts. He also worked on a few side projects developing clubs and strategies for a variety of different entities namely Light, Foundation Room (Godspeed) and ICE.
