Casino execs wanted for industry survey

What makes a casino executive tick? What are the qualities of an effective casino executive? What does it take to become a casino executive.

The answers to these and other related questions are at the heart of an annual survey conducted among casino executives, who are invited to participate online at gamingobserver.com.

"Every year, these surveys, which track everything from preferred locations to key motivating factors, become increasingly valuable tools for companies that need to attract and retain executive talent," said Michael Pollock, publisher of the Gaming Industry Observer, one of the co-sponsors of the survey.

The Survey of Casino Executives is the fourth and follows on the heels of yet another expansion of gaming in states ranging from Pennsylvania to Maryland and California.

The other sponsor is Los Angeles-based Bristol Associates, Inc., an executive research firm.

"The survey helps our clients become more competitive, and helps them get the greatest benefit from a key resource: their leadership team," said Bristol Associates President James J. Bright.

The results of the survey will be made available to all executives who participate, and will be reported in GamingToday when they are released.
