In April, Sam’s Town Hotel & Casino commemorates 25 years of gaming, hospitality, dining and service to Las Vegas locals and tourists. The official anniversary event kicks off in April, but the celebration lasts throughout the year. Sam’s Town launches the anniversary celebration by hearkening back to the good ol’ days, and good ol’ prices. On April 3-4, the Firelight Buffet will turn back the hands of time to feature brunch and dinner for the 1979 price of $6.49.

During the month of April, casino guests and preferred customers can also purchase special 25th anniversary leather jackets as well as special silver slot coins to commemorate the festivities. Additionally, each month for the rest of the year, Sam’s Town will host special 25th anniversary tournaments, giveaways and casino promotions to keep the spirit of celebration alive and reward the customers and guests who have contributed to the resort’s longevity, as it looks forward to another 25 years.

For the third month in a row Wildfire Casino continues to treat casino workers to food and drink specials. In February, Wildfire kicked off a super special for casino industry workers by offering great late night cheap food and drink specials. The good deals continue through April. The 49-cent late night specials run from Sunday through Thursday from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. The specials include well drinks, draft beer, ham, turkey or grilled cheese sandwiches, slices of pizza, and breakfast items such as eggs and toast, sides of bacon, or pancakes.

The offer is valid for all casino employees who must present a current casino ID or work card and be 21 years or older. The Wildfire Casino is on Rancho Drive, across from Texas Station. The casino is also running a new paycheck cashing promotion in April. Cash your check at the main cage and receive $5 in free food! Some restrictions apply. Ask for details at the cashier’s cage.

The Canal Street Café in Jerry’s Nugget offers an April dinner special featuring their famous prime rib for only $5.49. The special is being served Sundays through Thursdays, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. throughout the month of April. Jerry’s Nugget gets serious with this month’s special — an 8 oz. cut of premium Grade A prime beef for just $5.49. Your special includes your choice of either a bowl of home-made soup or a crisp green garden salad. You also get your choice of whipped or baked potato, French fries or rice, along with a selection of garlic or French breads.
