The U.S. Beer Drinking Team and Beer Radio have announced their national search to select a permanent host city for The Beer Hall of Fame.
The Beer Hall of Fame will be the ultimate travel and tourism destination for the 90,000,000 beer drinkers in the United States and hundreds of millions more from around the world.
"The Beer Hall of Fame will be the number one travel and tourism destination for the hundreds of millions of beer drinkers in the USA and around the world," stated Joe Gardenghi, director of operations for the U.S. Beer Drinking Team and Beer Radio. "There are so many passionate beer drinkers who have no ultimate destination. The Beer Hall of Fame will provide them with a family oriented destination which will place the host city on the world map! The Beer Hall of Fame will house fine beer themed restaurants, a museum of beer memorabilia, Beer Radio broadcasting studios, music and entertainment venue, education center, an enormous selection of beer and the actual Beer Hall of Fame."
Americans spent nearly $75 billion on beer in 2003. (This is over eight times the amount spent on ALL domestic movie tickets in the same period.) These 90,000,000 people love to travel, taste, talk and revel in the adventure that surrounds great beer. Junkets of beer drinkers and their families will travel and spend the weekend to enjoy all the festivities at the Beer Hall of Fame. Membership in the Beer Hall of Fame is open to any passionate beer drinker.
"We are searching for the perfect host city for the Beer Hall of Fame," said Gardenghi. "We are looking for a prime location with a business and beer and family friendly environment. Ask any passionate beer drinker and they’ll tell you that if they saw a sign on the interstate that said, ”˜Beer Hall of Fame Next Exit,’ they would pull over and stay the weekend."
