Chefs mix it up for trade show

Hospitality industry leaders from around the world will gather for two days of hotel and restaurant related exhibits, seminars, events and competitions at the 25th annual Las Vegas International Hotel & Restaurant Show (LVIHRS), Wednesday and Thursday, at Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

In addition to a variety of keynote addresses and panel discussions, more than 350 exhibitors will showcase thousands of new products and services.

The LVIHRS will also feature action-packed live competitions including:

”¡ Housekeeping competition: Join the nation’s top housekeepers from as many as 22 of Las Vegas’ major hotels as they compete in several contests of skill, speed and accuracy.

”¡ Flair bartending competition: More than 50 of the world’s most talented flair bartenders will flip, juggle and twirl bottles of liquor at the Battle of the Flair Gods flair bartending competition.

”¡ Las Vegas Culinary Challenge: Chefs from Las Vegas will face off in a culinary challenge and will be judged according to American Culinary Federation Guidelines.

”¡ Fashion Show: The latest styles in hotel-casino uniforms will hit the runway.
