Atlanta Braves at Florida Marlins (+160, 9ov)

The venerable John Smoltz takes the mound for the Braves against Florida’s Ricky Nolasco. Smoltz will have to be at his best as the Braves’ bullpen is in shambles. However, Smoltz has only pitched 11 innings this season, though he struck out 11 in those outings. Nolasco is off to a slow start (4.22 ERA in three starts), but has fared well against Atlanta in the past – 1.82 ERA and 1-1 record in four lifetime starts. Given the Braves’ recent struggles against right-handers (1-4 in last five games) and their bullpen woes, let’s take a shot with Florida as a live dog. Marlins +160.
