Funny Cide owners to
appear at Bally’s book

Apr 27, 2004 7:35 AM

Just in time for the Belmont Stakes, fans can meet and greet the owners of Funny Cide, who just missed winning the Triple Crown last year after winning the Derby and Preakness before failing in the Belmont.

Jack Knowlton and Gus Williams, two owners of the colt with the hilarious name, will be at Bally’s Race and Sports Book on Saturday, May 22, from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

In addition to chatting with horserace fans, the pair will be autographing their new book, "Funny Cide," which was co-written by Sally Jenkins, who will also be on hand.
