Two for Tuesday Baseball

May 4, 2004 1:25 AM

White Sox at Orioles: Esteban Loaiza is Mr. April after going 4-0, repeating his great start from last year. We do play hunches on occasion and May may just end the streak. Baltimore’s Eric DuBose has won his last three starts, posting a neat 1.71 ERA. The Orioles look like a live home dog at Camden Yards. BALTIMORE.

Red Sox at Indians: Red Sox playing top notch ball and have carried right-hander Derek Lowe to a 2-1 mark in his last three starts, despite 5.74 ERA. Lowe is a solid 4-1 lifetime against the Tribe. Pitching Jeff D’Amico (6.26 ERA) lately is like throwing kerosene on a fire. Expect another short, rough outing. Don’t be afraid to lay the 1½ runs at the Jake. BOSTON.

Last week: 1-0 (rainout); Season 6-2.
