Treat dad to a great meal on Father’s Day while maintaining the budget! Good meals and deals can be a snap for this special holiday.

This Father’s Day, treat dad to some good home-style cooking at the Fresh Harvest Café, inside Sam’s Town Hotel & Casino. The Fresh Harvest Café serves up several traditional meals for dads with hearty appetites. The twin pork T-bones, for $9.99, are marinated and cooked to perfection, then topped with a Sherry demi-glaze and caramelized pearl onions. Garlic roast mashed potatoes are also served with the meal. The roasted turkey dinner, for $6.99, includes sliced fresh roasted turkey breast served with homemade mashed potatoes and moist stuffing. Sautéed vegetables are served with the meal. Both entrée selections include all-you-can-eat soup and endless trips to the salad bar. The Fresh Harvest Café is open 24 hours on Father’s Day.

The Palms Casino Resort’s Sunrise Café will be serving a delicious Father’s Day meal on Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. for only $12.99 per person. The Father’s Day special is comprised of a salad featuring mixed greens with dried cranberries and toasted almonds in balsamic vinaigrette. The menu will feature a choice of entrée including broiled 14-ounce rib eye steak with green peppercorn sauce and baked potato served with garden fresh asparagus or seared sea bass with passion fruit glaze served with a fruit and cashew couscous and garden fresh asparagus. The meal ends with an apple tarte tatin for dessert. If dad might prefer a buffet, The Palms Fantasy Market Buffet will be serving special Father’s Day dishes on the holiday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. for only $14.99 per person. The Father’s Day special is comprised of assorted salads, peel and eat shrimp, crab legs, oysters on the half shell, steamed clams, broiled crayfish, jerk chicken with mango sauce, fruit and nut couscous, broiled salmon with Thai Chile, Asian style lamb chops, BBQ sirloin steak, smoked chicken, potato latkes, stuffed pork loin with sun dried cherries and shiitake mushrooms, honey glazed pork ribs, smoked turkey, cornbread apple stuffing, pepper crusted N.Y. Strip, baked ham and prime rib, along with an assortment of cakes and pies.

"A Special Salute to all Dads" is the theme for dad’s day at Ellis Island on Sunday. For only $14.95 per person select from: a lumberjack style 16-oz. ribeye steak that includes baked potato and green beans with soup or salad, or delicious Chicken Angelo including rice and green beans with soup or salad or try the hefty Seafood Platter served with French fries and cole slaw. All entrees include a special dessert and a complimentary handcrafted EIB (Ellis Island Brewery) beer.
