A Fourth of July getaway has delivered financial independence for a Norwalk, Calif. woman who won a $4.9 million slot machine jackpot at the Gold Coast. The winner, who has asked to remain anonymous, won the MegaJackpot while playing quarters on a Jeopardy! slot.

The winner said that she always plays the Jeopardy! themed slot when she comes to Las Vegas and that she’ll use her windfall to pay for her daughter’s upcoming wedding. The 62-year-old winner indicated that the jackpot may also speed up her plans to retire.

Jeopardy! is a 3-coin quarter game based on the popular television game show and is one of 23 Nevada MegaJackpots systems operated by IGT.

All IGT MegaJackpots top awards are paid in annual installments upon verification, except MegaJackpots instant winners jackpots and Rapid Riches MegaJackpots awards, which are paid in their entirety on verification.
