First impression about Hofbrauhaus is the immense size. Definitely, a stadium type atmosphere with the noise bouncing off the walls. A nice touch to hear "Lilli Marlene" on the loudspeakers, followed by Jimmy Buffett. Only in Vegas! We were excited to see a burger offered as part of a menu dominated by wieners, beer, wieners and more beer. It was scary to scan the menu and see that the burger was a combination of pork and beef. Thankfully, we were allowed to take the all-beef road. The result was an excellent effort, aided by crispy fries, a Kaiser roll and Mountain Dew. Any place that carry Dew earns brownie points. The service was awesome, especially the lovely Angela, a UNLV junior majoring in communications. However, the price was a buck too high and spreading parsley all over the fries was annoying. Still, we had a delightful early lunch. And we didn’t even experience the indoor beer garden!
