The lady’s words, not mine. Common courtesy suggests that a woman’s age not be discussed, but it has much to do with Jamie Shea leaving Las Vegas for London after a successful stint at the Hard Rock as race and sports book manager.
"Call it a 10-year itch," Shea said in defining her decade in "Sin City" as a rising force in the gaming industry. "I’m 32, single and have no kids. I can see the world. On weekends I can go to France, Scotland and Ireland instead of San Diego and Phoenix. I need a change in life."
Shea will be under contract in England for a large gaming firm, which she called a fantastic opportunity. "I am on the cusp of something big," she said. "The English have taken the gloves off as far as things you can bet on. The Hard Rock made this offer happen for me and I loved working for them."
Shea’s last day at the Rock is Aug. 26. She starts her new life Sept. 3. England will be really be swinging now. "I’m too young just to sit still. It’s going to be a blast.
