Yet another brand new sports bar / restaurant in the growing South Las Vegas area. Home Plate offered sliders on the menu, so we took a shot for a bit of variety from the normal half-pound burger. Mistake. We added a ½-wimpy for the regular size burger, but stay away from the sliders. No match for White Castle whatsoever. The little buns are so thick, you can hardly taste the meat. Plus, too many red onions. We admire the attempt, but the Castle is king of the mini-burgers. This is a nice play to watch all the sports on the multi-screens. The service and price is fine. Just avoid those sliders.
