HAWTHORNE

ROSEAL: Was stuck wide the entire trip. Continued wide through the stretch and made a nice run late to pick up the place. Looks set for the maiden breaker.

SWEEPING CAT: Race close while inside till the half. Could not find room up the rail and had to take back. Circled the field and rallied late to get up for the win in a very good effort. Look for the repeat.

BAY MEADOWS

CARELESS CANDIDATE: This is a good one with the elections coming up in November. This guy was ready to pounce when he just got stuck with no place to go while on the rail. Was forced out and had to wait till the stretch. He shifted out and attempted to split horses in upper stretch but could not get through. Finally did get through but was too late, getting beat by a nostril. No mistakes from this careless candidate in his next with a clean trip. $$$

RUSHBO: I was all over this 2yo first time starter at 18-1. He got bumped and had to steady sharply at the start and fell far back. He came wide into the stretch and was just full of run to just miss the show. I am looking forward for this guy’s return and a clean break. Maybe I can get my dough back. $$$

OLD MIZZOU: Was bumped hard at the start and crowded early on the backstretch. Dropped back to last and made a wide late rally. Closed strong to just miss by less than two lengths and passed them after the wire. Mizzou was much the best in here and should get the score in his next.

DYNA WILD: Has really came to life in her last two on the grass. Just won this race with such ease after encountering trouble in the stretch drive. Was caught behind a wall of horses but split foes and drew away with ease. Look for another move up and score.

LUXURY FLIGHT: Trying the grass for the first time she had the misfortune of meeting a tigress. Did put in a super effort to get the place at 8-1. If this girl comes back on the grass you can bet with confidence. $$$

KREEKER: Was crowded and took up at the start. Raced wide and advanced to mid-stretch but had too much to do. This was a much better then looked effort and this girl could pop at a big price in her next. Long shot special.

TEJATI: Raced close up early but had to take back after the rider lost his whip at mid turn. Was coming back on from the inside all on her own. Looks to be a good bet in her next.

NATIVE HEARTBEAT: Was inside but moved well off the rail on the backstretch. Dropped back over on the second turn and did not respond after that. Look for a much better effort in her next.

MOYANNA: Tracked the pace on the turn and rallied inside to the stretch. Shifted off the rail for room and was ready to split rivals. Had to check hard when a horse drifted in front of her but responded once clear. Drew away in a powerful race. $$$
