by Kevin Stott | Calgary Flames at San Jose Sharks (-180, 5u -150): San Jose wanted no part of the Flames in this opening round series and now you know why. After winning the season

series, 3-1, Calgary and star Jerome Iginla have pushed the Sharks to the limit and the winner of this game will certainly deserve to advance – but will be a little beat up after tonight’s game. Goals should be few and far between in this one and the team that scores first will have a big advantage.

In net, you can’t get better goaltending than Nabokov-Kiprusoff and combined with the importance of this game and the fact that the series has averaged 4.66 GPG and the big juice (-150) hints at taking the UNDER in this one. Despite Calgary’s consistent peskiness, the home-ice advantage is just too strong to bet against and with these two studs between the pipes, let’s hedge it with the over. SHARKS -180, UNDER 5.
