October is famous for Oktoberfest! In Las Vegas we can add "Puck-Toberfest!" The Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill celebrates the first Puck-Toberfest at Wolfgang Puck’s newest eatery in the MGM Grand, where diners can feast on three-course menu with crafted domestic beers developed by executive chef Marc Djozlija and master Sommelier Luis DeSantos through Oct. 31.

The Puck-Toberfest menu features a house-made bratwurst with red pepper marmalade and pretzel bread for the first course followed by cider-glazed roasted pork loin with braised cabbage and potato puree, culminating with pumpkin bread pudding for dessert. All of this feast is only $28.

And what’s an Oktoberfest/Puck-Toberfest without beer? Check out the triple-play beer menu for $8. The first course features "The Great White," a crisp light beer with a hint of citrus, from Lost Coast Brewery in Eureka, California. Accompanying the roast pork is "Double Barrel Ale." This brew with its spicy bouquet is fermented in an oak barrel and is from Firestone Walker Brewery in Paso Robles, California. Finally, "Pumpkin Ale," an amber-style brew with hints of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, from Buffalo Bill’s Brewery in California is a perfect match for the pumpkin bread pudding.

The Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill is open from 11:30 a.m.-11 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 11:30 a.m.-11:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday.

Fiesta Rancho has introduced a new steak house. The new Blue Agave Steakhouse (replacing the now closed Fiesta Steakhouse) is located inside Garduno’s for traditional steaks, seafood and chops. One of the current specials is the $9.99 Blue Agave steak special. The meal includes soup or salad, choice of potato and vegetables.

Plan ahead for a free meet and greet with NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) POWERade Drag Racing Series Nitro Funny Car Champions Tony and Cruz Pedregon of Pedregon Racing. The event will be held in the food court of the Palms Casino Resort on Wednesday, October 27, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event is free and open to the public and all ages are welcome to attend.

Last but not least, the Sahara presents an interesting show in the Casbar Theatre next week. Sweet Lillie’s Bawdy Burlesque Cabaret will be appearing nightly at 10 p.m. and again at 11:30 p.m. from October 25 through October 31. Once again, at no cost you can’t beat the price.
