Halloween brings bingo treats

Oct 18, 2004 11:52 PM

Halloween. It’s not just for the kids! There are plenty of "treats" for the adults too, especially in the bingo halls across Las Vegas. Mark your calendars and plan your bingo dates and times to collect a "spook-tacular" variety of nice gifts around town.

Hit Sam’s Town prior to the holiday on Tuesday, Oct. 19 for a fanny bag giveaway or on Thursday, Oct. 28, for a long sleeve logo shirt giveaway.

Terrible’s Hotel Casino is offering bingo players two days to celebrate and collect gifts. On Saturday, Oct. 30, players at all sessions receive a witch dauber, and on Sunday, the gift is a cuddly Terrible’s pumpkin-dressed teddy bear.

All Station Casino bingo rooms (Texas, Palace, Boulder, Santa Fe and Sunset) are offering an early Thanksgiving themed gift for Halloween in the form of "Happy Harvest" turkey shaped salt and pepper shakers which will be given away to all players on Sunday, Oct. 31. Fiesta Rancho and Fiesta Henderson also join in offering the same promotion.

How about a ceramic pumpkin night light? Pick one up at Arizona Charlie’s Decatur or Arizona Charlie’s Boulder on the Sunday holiday. And if your birthday happens to be in October, Arizona Charlie’s Decatur will reward you with one free $6 Rainbow Pack, one free birthday dauber and a $5 value food coupon. Present your identification at the bingo cage any day this month.

Halloween kicks off early at the Gold Coast and Suncoast. On Friday, October 29, collect a free Halloween dauber at all sessions. Both casinos will also feature a "Spooky Special" at the 7 p.m. session on Friday, offering 15 games paying out $1000 on each game. Buy-in’s are $20 and additional packs are $10 for the special session. On Saturday, Oct. 30, the party continues with four guaranteed $1000 coveralls at the 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. sessions. Finally, on Sunday, Oct. 31, play the 11 a.m. or 7 p.m. sessions and receive a free family photo frame set.

In addition, there are two final weeks to win some big cash on Thursdays at Suncoast and Gold Coast. Play the 11 a.m. or 7 p.m. sessions and get a shot via drawings at $1250 in cash prizes. One winner takes home $500, one gets $250 and five additional winners will walk away with $100 each. All players receive one drawing ticket at all sessions played throughout the month of October. Winners must be present and playing during the session to win a drawing. The complete details are posted at the Bingo Cage.

Last but not least, the Silver Nugget is running a phenomenal 50-times points at all bingo sessions during October.

All bingo giveaways at all casinos are available at all sessions (unless noted otherwise) to players who purchase a minimum bingo buy-in ($3-4 in most casinos) and are limited to quantities on hand. Play early in the day to guarantee yourself a gift.
