 Cards +3 at Bills (34.5):
Of Arizona's three previous road games, two were in domes and the other in Frisco. Buffalo can be harsh, even in late October. If Bledsoe stops throwing INTs in the red zone, Bills should cover. BUFFALO.

Giants +7 at Vikings (48): Minnesota 2-1 ATS at home, but has been under .500 as a favorite five of the last six years. G-Men off horrible effort against Lions, but are 2-0 SU/ATS in last two trips to Metrodome. NY GIANTS.

Colts -1.5 at Chiefs (57): Early money on the Chiefs, who regained some lost support after 46-point pounding of Atlanta. However, KC is 0-4 ATS lifetime against Indy. Can't see sorry Chiefs pass defense stopping Manning. INDY.

Dolphins +7 at Jets (36): Miami became last NFL team to break into the win column with upset of St. Louis. Monday night at the Meadowlands, plus Jets' 10-2-1 ATS edge on Dolphins in last 13 are too much to ignore. NY JETS.

Panthers +8 at Seahawks (39): Carolina is strapped of offensive weapons with Steve Smith out and the ground game banged up. Seattle is home for first time since blowing a 17-point lead to the Rams. Expect an explosion. SEATTLE.

Bengals +3 at Titans (40.5): The teams are a combined 3-10 ATS. Bengals off that big Monday night win over Denver could come in flat during the short week. Steve McNair (sternum) and Chris Brown (turf toe) have not practiced, but it's a must game and we think they will play. No road covers yet for Cincy. TENNESSEE.

Last week: 3-2
Season: 17-20-1

UConn +2.5 at Syracuse: The Orange has proven to be a far better team in the Dome than on the road. The Huskies are playing just their second game away from home, losing by double-digits at BC. SYRACUSE.

Okla -11.5 at Okla St: Cowboys have covered the last three meetings in Stillwater and come off big comeback win over Missouri. Sooners won at K-State by just 10 and Pokes are better. OKLA ST.

Kansas -4.5 at Iowa St: Tough spot for the Jayhawks giving points to a school that has a 5-1 ATS mark in the last six matchups. Plus, Kansas is off a 31-point loss at Oklahoma. Love the home-conference dog upset play. IOWA ST.

FSU -11.5 at Maryland: Terps return home off a cover, but last-minute loss to Clemson. Seminoles have owned Maryland in the series and are playing better with new QB Sexton. FLORIDA ST

TCU +6 at Cincinnati: The Frogs have no defense and Cincy QB Guidugli finally came out his funk with huge game in stunning blowout win over Memphis. At 3-4, Bearcats are suddenly in bowl picture with another impressive win. CINCY.

Kentucky +3 at Miss State: We think HC Croom will have the Bulldogs back to earth after a week of celebrating the huge upset win over Florida. Kentucky has been held to 17 points or less in six of seven games. MISS ST.

Texas -13.5 at Colorado: The Longhorns are 1-5 ATS in their last six games and are faced with giving points at Boulder for the first time in the series. Buffs played Missouri tough last week and Texas only beat Mizzu by 8. COLORADO.

Last week: 5-2
Season: 22-19-1

Bengals at Titans -3 total 40.5: Cincinnati finally got their first win on national television this past Monday with a very emotional effort. That emotion just won't carry over into Tennessee so look for the Bengals to revert back to their losing ways. The Titans in desperate need of a home win and are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games with Cincinnati. TITANS

Colts at Chiefs +1.5 total 57: Indianapolis lost a heartbreaker last week at home against the Jaguars and will be all out for this game. Colts are 6-0 SU and ATS in six meetings with KC. Last year's game between these two was won by the Colts 38-31 and see about the same result here in another high scoring game. COLTS and OVER.

Patriots at Steelers +3 total 42.5: I really tried to find a reason to bet the Steelers here but just couldn't. Yes Pittsburgh has won all four games that Big Ben has started but they were against Miami, Cincinnati, Cleveland and Dallas, four teams with losing records. The Steelers just haven't faced a team of this caliber with a Super Bowl defense that can stop two "Busses". I see Roethlisberger in big time trouble here as the Pats keep the streak alive. PATS $$$$$

Last week: 2-0
Season: 9-13

Penn State at Ohio State -5: Buckeyes got back on the winning track last week as the beat Indiana 30-7 after three straight losses. Buckeyes need to win final four games if they want to get to a good Bowl game. Just can't see Penn State coming into Columbus and beating Ohio State. Penn State has come here four times and lost all four games SU and ATS. OHIO STATE

Washington at Oregon -20: Huskies are 0-7 ATS this year. Enough said. The Ducks have won and covered their last three games and are 5-2 ATS this year including a very nice win over a good Stanford team last week. Oregon also looking for double revenge after being thumped the last two years by the Huskies 42-14 and 42-10. OREGON

Stanford at UCLA -5.5: The Cardinal still in the Bowl mix and this will be a must win for them. They have a superior defense and the Bruins play little or no defense. Stanford has been the underdog in this series the last six meetings and has covered all six. Look for the seventh straight here. STANFORD

Utah at San Diego State +18: The Utes have turned into a scoring machine and when they get in front they don't let up. Utah is 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS and looking for a BCS Bowl bid so don't look for any mercy here. San Diego State is 0-4 SU and ATS in their last four games while averaging 11.5 points a game. That won't get the cover here. UTAH

Last week: 2-1
Season: 23-25

Cardinals at Buffalo -3.5: The Cardinals proved they were legit with their win over the Seahawks. And Buffalo has one of the weakest offenses in the league. Give Arizona a chance to keep it close. ARIZONA.

NY Giants at Minnesota -7, total 48: The Giants came out flat after its bye week, a common occurrence for NFL teams. They'll be able to move the ball through the air against lackluster Viking defense. The Vikes will get their scores as well in this high-scoring contest. GIANTS and the OVER.

Colts -2 at Chiefs 57: Talk about lighting it up. After their loss, the Colts will come out throwing. But the Chiefs have the firepower to keep pace. Both defenses have enough holes to allow for some big numbers. CHIEFS and the OVER.

San Francisco +2 at Chicago: It may be the most horrible match-up of the day, but it's probably the most likely winner. The Niners blasted this team last year 49-7, and the Bears appear to be headed toward oblivion again this season. SAN FRANCISCO.

Miami at NY Jets -7: Four weeks ago the Dolphins lost 17-9 to the Jets, but they made too many mistakes, turnovers and penalties. Miami actually out-gained the Jets and they're playing better now. MIAMI.

Last week: 2-4
Season: 14-22-1

Purdue -9 at Northwestern: Boilermakers need a win after back-to-back home losses, but Wildcats are playing better and can move the football on the ground. Can't see Purdue pulling away in this one. NORTHWESTERN.

Penn State at Ohio State -6: Penn State held Iowa to two field goals last week, which should have been enough to win. But it wasn't. But the Nittany Lions will find some offense this week after being blanked last week. Ohio State offense doesn't scare anyone and Penn State "D" can keep them in check. PENN STATE.

Missouri -2.5 at Nebraska: As bad as Nebraska has been, it's hard to believe this game is for control of the Big 12 North Division. The Huskers attack was pitiful against K-State last week (9 first downs and 3 pass completions!) and the offense has turned the ball over 27 times this season. MISSOURI.

Oklahoma -12.5 at Oklahoma State: The talking heads are fawning all over OU's Adrian Peterson for his seventh straight 100-yard game last week. But the Sooners actually struggled for most of the game to get past Kansas. The Cowboys have a solid rushing attack of its own, though their passing attack is suspect. Nevertheless, Okie State has won two of the last three meetings and will play hard here. OKLAHOMA STATE.

Air Force at Wyoming -2.5: Air Force gave up more than 350 yards/passing last week versus BYU. Wyoming's Bramlett should post similar numbers. Plus, the 'Pokes have a strong home field; they've won and covered all three games this year. WYOMING.

Arizona State at California -15.5: Both teams have high-octane offenses, but Cal has a defense ... something UCLA didn't have last week. Cal is getting short shrift in BCS hunt so this could be chance to bolster its stock. CALIFORNIA.

USC -24.5 at Washington State: The So Cal schools always seem to have problems in the Northwest at this time of the year. Cold, dank, slippery when wet type fields spell tough sledding for golden-haired favorites. Plus, the Cougars can put up some points of their own. WASHINGTON STATE.

Last week: 6-4
Season: 27-22-3

                                                                         NFL THUMBNAILS

Packers at Redskins +21/2 total 40: Green Bay starting to put it together as they have won and covered their last two games in convincing style and both game have gone way over the total. Redskins coming off a bye week but have been trounced by the packers in their last two meetings.

Ravens at Eagles -71/2 total 38: Eagles 6-0 SU and 5-1 ATS narrowly escaped in OT last week at Cleveland 34-31. Ravens have won two straight mostly on defense as their defense has given up a total of 16 points in the last two games. These two have met twice with both games going under the total.

Cardinals at Bills -3 total 341/2: Card's have only two wins this year but have been in every game and could easily be 5-1. The Buffalo offense has been stagnant this year as they have only scored 20 points one time. This looks to be another battle of the defenses.

Giants at Vikings -7 total 48: Giants came of bye week and got hammered by the Lions 28-13 and now must travel to Minnesota to meet the Vikings. New York has covered 3 out of last 4 meetings. Vikings have won and covered their last three games but will not be at full strength this week with Moss being injured.

Bengals at Titans -3 total 401/2: Cincy coming off huge win on Monday beating the Broncos 23-10 to notch their first win of the season. Tennessee coming off two straight losses as they could only get 10 points against the Texans and only 3 points last week against the Vikings.

Colts at Chiefs +1 1/2 total 57: Kansas City awoke from the dead last week when blasting the Falcons 56-10 to get only their second win this year. Colts lost a heartbreaker last week 27-24 to the very tough Jaguars. The colts are 6-0 SU and ATS against the Chiefs.

Lions at Cowboys -3 total 41: Cowboys coming off three straight losses and three straight no covers. Lions coming off a big win over the Giants last week 28-14 at New York. Lions are 3-1 SU against the Cowboys last four meetings.

Jaguars at Texans -1 total 42: Houston playing inspired football all year and are coming off a big win over the Titans at Tennessee. Texans 3-1 ATS against the Jags in four lifetime meetings. Jacksonville coming off back too back wins as a dog and crushed the Texans here last year 27-0.

Falcons at Broncos -61/2 total 39: Falcons got hamme
