The world’s most popular slot machine will see its television alter ego, Wheel of Fortune, visit the Las Vegas Hilton in January to tape a series of shows.

Last week, Wheel of Fortune co-host Vanna White was in Las Vegas to announce that "America’s Game" will travel to Las Vegas, and tape several episodes for broadcast in February.

Following the announcement, Vanna joined the production team at various Las Vegas-area locations to pre-tape segments, including Fremont Street, Monte Lago, Lake Las Vegas and hotels, including Mandalay Bay and the Las Vegas Hilton.

In January, Pat Sajak, Vanna White and the entire Wheel of Fortune production staff will be on hand to tape 15 episodes over three days before a Hilton audience of thousands.

Wheel of Fortune will conduct contestant searches on Monday and Tuesday of this week. Area residents who want to audition or get free tickets to tapings should visit the web site, www.kvbc.com.
